A native of the San Francisco Peninsula, Reno De Ranieri was exposed to rustic Italian cuisine and wine at an early age. He began working in restaurants at 16 years old and continued through his time at the University of California at Los Angeles. Reno moved to New Orleans in 2005 and began fostering his wine knowledge at Restaurant Cuvée, first as Bar Manager and later as Sommelier. He joined the Link Restaurant Group in 2011, striving to continue to increase his knowledge and develop the professional beverage program at Herbsaint Bar and Restaurant. After serving as General Manager of Herbsaint, Reno accepted his current position of Wine and Beverage Director in 2014.
